Submitting Photos

SO YOU WANNA BE A BARRACUDA GIRL OR A BARRACUDA GIRL PHOTOGRAPER? READ ON!

Please familiarize yourself with the photographic style of Barracuda Magazine before submitting photos.

We are not “scouting” for models and setting up shoots. We are looking for finished, high-resolution photos only.

DO SEND US High-quality, modest, cute, fun, retro, largely traditional pin-up-style photos with a look from the 1940s through the 1960s.

DO NOT SEND US Neo-punk, goth, fetish, tattoo, bondage, “in your face,” overtly-sexual, raunchy, modern or fashion-styled photos.

This means no visible tattoos or piercings, thongs, neon bikinis, six-figure cars, superchoppers, high-tech rods, etc. That’s all wonderful stuff. It’s just not what we do.

No cell phone camera pics or photos you took of yourself, please. We do not say this to be smart alecks. We are just trying to save us both a bit of time.

DO SEND US submissions as jpegs attached to an email or a link DIRECTLY to relevant photos.

DO NOT SEND US a link where we must hunt around a site or gallery, sign up, sign in or join a group to look at your photos.

Our submission process is very informal. Please help us to keep it that way by following our suggestions. Submissions that do not meet our simple guidelines cannot not be considered.
